Hi there!
Fall trends getting us excited about sewing for fall. I always wished that “some sewing blogger” would put together a trends list and what patterns we could sew to recreate such trends. Well, I thought I’d take a crack at it!
This fall my goal is to sew more fashion forward pieces to add some spice to my wardrobe. Here are my top fashion trends I find most interesting and most sewable this fall.
Animal Print
Who doesn’t love a little WILD in their life? Animal print is one of the easiest ways to add a little edginess into your me made style! Whether you wear a animal print blouse, pants, skirt– or as the trend suggest– all three at the same time, I think we can have some sewing fun with this one!
Plaid on Plaid on Plaid!
This season try mixing your plaids. Use varying size checks and contrasting colors. Sewing chicks love a good plaid and it’s so easy to get different variations by the yard! Love it!
All Red
Not for your wallflowers, an all red look from head to toe is a showstopper. Trying pairing different shades and textures of red to create this very chic monochromatic look! I can’t wait to sewing up an all red outfit!
Bohemian Rhapsody
This trend is all about textures and mixing prints. Love to quilt? This trend is for you. Make a patchwork skirt, or a quilted coat. Love to knit and crochet? Make a long duster sweater that sweeps the floor! This trend is hand pick and made for us that like to keep it #memadeeveryday!
Mixing Prints
This trends is like taking all the trends, mixing them up, and putting them together! Go wild with this one. Mix prints like a boss! Care less if they clash, the more the prints clashes the better! This trend may take some getting used to. However, you can mix a little or a lot of crazy into your me made wardrobe. Don’t forget, animal prints are neutrals!
Hope you take some of these trends on. Giving you inspiration to have fun with fashion! What trends this season are you feeling the most? And which ones will you sew up? I’d love to know!
